So I have a lot to write about but having a bit of trouble getting anything out. So I looked at my camera roll on my phone and thought I would write a little bit about a picture.
I picked this one…
The little guy in catchers gear. He was VERY excited to be playing catcher. I was very excited to see him play.
For reasons I will address in a future post, I was not on the field coaching but for the first time a parent, watching his son play baseball. It was amazing. And so different than being an assistant coach. There was no tension, no getting worked up about every broken play.
The little guy is definitely getting better and better, but he is a lefty and likely to be on first base a lot more often than he will be behind the plate.
I hope this will be the end of my short stall.
